Circa Survive
Descensus

Sound that is typical of Circa Survive, easily recognizable in all compositions on this disc. Powerful, bright and interesting....

For all years of its varied career Anthony Green remained true to their principles, not chasing success, and for the quality of its records. After the scandalous care of Saosin Greene founded Circa Survive and 180 degree change was able to his music career. The success of the fourth disc of the new group "Violent Waves" (2012) can be fully attributed to Greene himself, because he was a producer and publisher of this disc.

After the release of the album Green once again became separated from the group, went into solo projects. But last year Green surprised everyone by announcing the reunion of the Saison and the new album by Circa Survive. The result of this mental impulse was the creation of a fifth plate Circa Survive-"the Descensus."

On the album, you can say that this is an interesting presentation of a typical emo-rock sound. A sort of hybrid of post-hardcore and new-fangled "emo"-samples. The result is a clever, unusual music, which once again confirms how brilliant Green as a musician, in what would be the project it did not work. Disc turned out to be a very dynamic, danceable and truly weird. Even the jazz composition "Phantom" riddled with clockwork drum beats, and so is very reminiscent of "Morning Bell" Radiohead.

Disc not "Descensus jumps higher than previous albums. Sound that is typical of Circa Survive, easily recognizable in all compositions on this disc. Powerful, bright and interesting.
